Largest risers and folders in the stretch

Power rankings are ridiculous. Power rankings are fun. I like silly things and fun things. And so will you.

Today’s challenge is to update how 32 NFL clubs serve fantasy. This is my list and subjective. Reasonable disagreements are always welcome: @scott_pianoski on Twitter.

This is volume 4.0 on this list. We debuted in preseason and revisited quarterly: 2.0 and 3.0.

Well, flags fly forever, right? A team that was wrecked by an injury, maybe the building was also a problem. No player on the NFL roster has exploded with more fantastical dreams, but Matthew’s preseason injury problems with his Stafford may have saved you. Just ranking the Rams 10th in August was a pleasant surprise.

Just when Dameon Pierce thought it was proof of the game script, he ran eight yards on a losing streak. And there’s no guarantee the Texans will win another game this year. I’m open to Pierce doing something against the terrible Browns rushing defense in Week 13, but then we may need to move on. There is no correct answer.

This is how poorly Russell Wilson plays. The Broncos are so unwatchable that NBC was forced to walk away from Patrick Mahomes’ game, as he only exceeded his total once in his 11 attempts in Denver.

Justin Fields makes them fun and easy to watch. Anyone else playing quarterback would be better off not televising the game.

Mac Jones had the best match of his career on Thanksgiving night. Ramondre Stevenson is one of 2022’s best correct answerers, but he doesn’t have another hit on this offense.

Saquon Barkley hasn’t gotten a lot of passing game work, but it makes sense given how his yardage-per-target has crated over the past two years. Darius Slayton and Richie James will get some fantasy consideration in next week’s Goodbye Nightmare, but we can probably ignore them for the fantasy playoffs.

Success has many parents, but so does failure. Both Marcus Mariota and Arthur Smith share responsibility for the failed launches of Kyle Pitts and Drake London. The backfield has always been a sort of committee, and Mariota is also actively run, keeping everyone’s ceilings down.

They’re still alive and well in the NFC South, highlighting just how badass that group is: Sam Darnold was good enough to bring back DJ Moore. D’Onta Foreman he shares a part with Chuba Hubbard, but it’s clear who the featured back is.

Mike White had the right timing to tie the Bears, but he also impressed with his accuracy, pocket awareness and command of the attack. Garrett Wilson can win any route. Kudos to the Jets for aggressively playing Zonoban Knight just weeks after the James Robinson trade.

Treylon Burks spreads his wings with perfect timing and Derrick Henry starts on any fantasy roster. Ryan Tannehill’s witty run is gone this year.

Alvin Kamara scored three touchdowns in a glorious afternoon against the Raiders. He has no spikes against anyone else. The Saints’ offensive his line is a problem, and of course the quarterback has no clear solution in his room. Kamara is also right next to the age pocket where running backs are a concern.

Kenny Pickett is still a wait-and-see project, but at least he seems to be improving every week. You might be able to jump into the dozen. Nagy Harris continues to give off that terrifying Trent Richardson vibe and is currently battling injury.

The best thing that can be said about Taylor Heinicke is that he’s no Carson Wentz, but it’s hard to have a fantastic offense with just 195 yards a game. Nonetheless, it has a 6-on-1 rampage. The 49ers are likely to eat lunch in Washington on Christmas Eve.

Travis Etienne has never caught more than three passes in a single game. JaMycal Hasty recorded five grabs last week. Is this a failure of the coaching staff or a comment to Etienne? Trevor Lawrence, who came from behind in a come-from-behind win against Baltimore, will produce against Detroit this week. Christian Kirk and Zay Jones’ deals were dunked last spring, but they’re both playing well.

We’d love to see more of Jelani Woods, one of the few players in all his glory on Monday night. But if the Colts can get Kylen Granson back on the field, they’ll probably make sure all tight ends play a lot and none produce a lot. and (not Mondays, most of the week) airing Paris Campbell.

At this point, I want to see Jordan Love play. My expectations aren’t bountiful, and I’m sick of Aaron Rodgers’ experience. Christian Watson is a classic case of a rookie receiver turning the lights on in the second half.

DeAndre Hopkins has the best stats under the hood of his time in Arizona and says something. Unable to keep the attack on the streets. James Connor keeps running in the mud, but he has a reasonable touch floor and a fair amount of touchdown equity.

Deshawn Watson hasn’t played an NFL game in two years and has had little time to prepare with his new teammates. There are mixed results here. YPC since Nick Chubb joined his NFL: 5.2, 5.0, 5.6, 5.5, 5.2.

The offense is not broken, but it is a long-established team with few playoff upsides. But you’ll have to track those targets and air yards with Mike Evans.

The Ravens badly needed receiver help in the spring and badly needed it at deadline. Instead, they’re trotting rereads and secondary ideas. To be fair, they expected Rashod Bateman to take a big step forward, but that was dampened by injury, with Lamar Jackson totaling 12 touchdowns in his first three games. was recorded. Since then, he has eight.

Perhaps the Lions don’t want to overextend Dandre Swift…and maybe they’ll always love Jamal Williams more than the rest of the world. When you articulate how you feel, you need to listen. Swift’s weekly touches since returning from injury: 10, 5, 7, 8, 9

Josh Jacobs is stepping down as one of the 2022 league winners (Andy Behrens will be dining for six months on this one). Despite being pissed about Davante Adams, he sits in his WR3 as most expected.

I loved TJ Hockenson’s move, but I’m surprised the Vikings were able to adapt him so quickly. But the fact that this is the worst statistical season of Kirk Cousins’ career cannot be overlooked.

No sympathy for managers Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddle. Week 14’s Tua Tagovailoa/Justin Herbert prime time meeting is going to be a blast.

Geno Smith’s have been having 100+ ratings in five straight games despite recent turnover issues. I don’t see him as a pumpkin risk. Kenneth Walker III’s work isn’t as consistent as I’d like it to be, and a bit skewed for long runs. I need a higher success rate. He’s still a big fantasy win, but the offense wants to stay on schedule.

Tyler Boyd has leveled off despite the absence of Jamar Chase. Samaje Perrine might rival Joe Mixon at this stage of his career. Joe Burrow always impressed with his composure and composure, regardless of how many hits he got or what kind of game situation he was forced into. I’m the front man.

We wanted the Chargers to get a receiver by the trade deadline, but they have more options to fix this receiver room in the offseason.

Isiah Pacheco finally made it into the end zone again last week, but note that the Chiefs have 29 touchdown passes and only 9 touchdown runs. And four of his scores on those grounds went to the collections of Patrick Mahomes, Mekor Hardman and Noah Gray. If you can still trade, it may be the right time to buy Pacheco.

4. Buffalo Bills (2)

Gabe Davis’ Weekly Wheels: WR14, WR66, WR87, WR1, WR18, WR61, WR45, WR9, WR31, WR64. I think it goes down as a net loss, but he always feels a little too good to be on the bench, and Josh Allen hasn’t seen him 100% for a while.

3. Dallas Cowboys (5)

An injury to Dak Prescott early on left the offense unbalanced, but five leading cowboys could be a useful fantasy in the playoffs. increase.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (1)

They ran all over Green Bay last week, but this passing game doesn’t have the same juice without Dallas Goudart. Somehow a year after scoring zero with 163 touches, he already has 8 spikes this year.He has always been a productive runner and his 5.1 YPC in his career offers.

1. San Francisco 49ers (3)

Deebo Samuel has only two Smash games this year. His rushing chances haven’t fallen to the floor, but his lucky touchdown percentage last year has predictably normalized. The 49ers have a lot of great players, and they sometimes get in the way of each other. Christian McCaffrey’s knee inflammation is something to watch for, but he seems to be on track to play so far.
